Take Part in Your County

When you attend or organize a PGCMC event you are taking a part in a powerful movement to affect your community. Events are a fun way to get involved with PGCMC and meet other individuals who are passionate about civic engagement. Most events are linked to a specific issue or action, and allow you to support our efforts to establish Islam as our way of life and improve the quality of life for all our neighbors is in Prince George's County, Muslim and non-Muslim.

Internship Fair 2020

Prince George's County Muslim Council Foundation will be conducting its 2nd Annual Internship Fair on January 25th, 2020 for High School and College Students as young as 15 years old. Internships may be paid or unpaid. Employers are expected from the government, private and non-profit sectors.

Attendees should be dressed professionally and bring resumes.

2020 Lobbying Day

Join Prince George's County Muslim Council (PGCMC), the Council on American Islamic Relations Maryland Chapter (CAIR-MD) and the United Maryland Muslim Council (UMMC) along with other Maryland Councils to lobby State elected officials on issues of importance to the Maryland Muslim Community.  Lobbying members of the State legislature will take place from 5:30 to 7:15 followed by a reception with invited legislators from 7:15 to 9 PM.

Make your voices heard to those elected to represent you.
