Law Enforcement Forum

On Wednesday, September 9, 2015, the Prince George's County Muslim Council conducted a forum entitled, "Law Enforcement and the Muslim Community.  The key guests of the forum were , Prince George's County Sheriff Melvin High,Prince George's County State's Attorney Angela Alsobrooks and Prince George's County Police Chief Mark Magaw.

 

 

The focus of the forum was to open a line of communication and cooperation between law enforcement and the Muslim community.  The purpose of which is to educate law enforcement on the concerns of the Muslim community while working cooperatively to reduce crime which is a benefit to all of Prince George's County.

The forum also acted as an introduction of the new Diyanet Center of America to Prince George's County officials as well as some members of the Muslim community.
